Why Is Tank Lining Important?
Here at Abfad Limited we have over 10 years’ knowledge and experience lining and repairing storage tanks of all different shapes and sizes. One thing is clear from our time in this industry, corrosion is the main enemy of the storage tank and shortens its life span considerably.
Preventing Corrosion With Monitoring
A new method of pipeline corrosion protection, which provides the answer to both elimination and monitoring of corrosion, has recently been developed by North East based Abfad Limited.
Unprotected pipelines are incredibly susceptible to corrosion, these could be buried in the ground, submerged underwater or exposed to the environment, all are vulnerable.
Storage Tank Corrosion And Prevention
With the introduction of Ethanol into the fuels we use, as a method of reducing greenhouse gasses and to lower the use of carbon fuels commonly associated with road transport, there is an increasing need to protect storage tanks from the corrosion caused by these bio-fuels.
NDT Feasibility Test Of Fuelvac
Here at Abfad we wanted to let our clients know that NDT testing to the steel tank could be carried out through our Fuelvac® double skin tank lining system, so we approached Innospection Limited to carry out some tests and produce a full comprehensive report for us.
